    Nothing seems to work for my older Canon Ink Jet mg2500 on windows 11 or 10


    I'm baffled and confused as to why my older Canon MG2500 Ink Jet printer has stopped working on both my computers. I have an older Acer laptop with windows 10 and a newer HP with windows 11. I've had the canon for years with no issues, until March 2025. I first noticed that the scanner option went away about a week ago on my Acer. I have tried downloading drivers, uninstalling then reinstalling the printer, other troubleshooting, but nothing is working. The printer is reinstalled with all drivers, and updates available but doesn't respond at all to printing command. On both my computers I get
