Windows 10: not receiving a code which is requested to log in ?

Discus and support not receiving a code which is requested to log in ? in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; it is asking for a code to log in - sent to another email address - but it is never coming.     Received Verification Code not Requested

    I received a verification code via text from number 517-89. I have received text from this number before however this time it was not requested. When I logged on to check activity, the only attempts show were my own but not at the time I received the notification
    (3:20 pm ET)

    How can I check to see who else requested this code.

    The account I checked is linked to my work email. But would I also have a separate account for personal use?

    no longer receiving a code

    How long do you suggest for me to wait? I do admit that I spam requested and received a code every time but at a certain point, I no longer received any. Do you think waiting until the next day would do me any good?

    I started off with trying to guess the last digit, then sending requests multiple times in hoping to get a new one then when i checked a couple hours later to request for a code, I don’t receive a message at all.

    • Do you receive any error message or code?
    We suggest you to the check the account settings by following steps:



    Step 1: Open Run command by pressing
    Windows key + R.

    Step 2: Type netplwiz, a
    User account window will open.

    Step 3: Select the account you want to check if you are logged in as administrator user.
