Windows 10: Not able to Login into PC after Resetting PC

I have used the reset option in setting to reset my PC and I have chose the Delete all files option because I want to delete everything on my PC , after that I was directed to select cloud install or local Update , so I selected Cloud install . After this PC went to resetting mode and after resetting finished , it opened the windows with same wallpaper on lock screen that I had before resetting. But when I pressed enter button it was asking me to login , I gave the password that I had till now used to unlock the PC but it is not getting unlocked And on entering correct password it showing a bl

Please confirm the following things for me.

1. Is your system connected to the internet? You can check this through the network icon at the bottom left corner of your login screen.
   
2. What error message are you receiving when you login with your Microsoft account?
   

I would suggest you to login to
http://login.live.com/ with your Microsoft account and check if you are able to sign-in with your credentials.

If you are able to sign-in with your Microsoft account on the live website, you can follow the steps in this article to ‘Start
your PC in safe mode in Windows 10’, kindly follow the steps in the section ‘From the sign-in screen’ and check if you are able to login to your system.

Unable to login to the PC

1. What is the error message you receive when you try to login to the PC?
   
2. Are you aware of any changes made to the PC prior to which you weren’t facing this issue?
   
3. Are you using a local account or a Microsoft account to login to the PC?
   

If you are using a Microsoft account then I would suggest you to try resetting the password of the PC and see if you are able to login. Refer the article

Note: The article talks about resetting the PC. It is not advised to reset the PC if you don’t have the backup of the data.

Unable to login to the PC after updating to Windows 10 1903 update

I understand that you are facing issues while logging in to the PC after installing the latest Windows update. I appreciate your time and effort in trying to resolve the issue by performing certain steps to login.



To understand the issue better, please respond to the questions below:

1. Is the PC connected to university network/domain network?
   
2. Is the computer connected to the internet while you are trying to login to your computer?
   

If you are not connected to internet, please connect an Ethernet cable to the PC and then try logging.



However, I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and check if that helps.



Method 1:



Try booting the PC in to safe mode and check if you are able to login. Refer the article

If the issue persists, please try the next method.



Method 2:



Since you are unable to login, I would suggest you to try rolling back the update and check. Refer the section

In addition, you can also try resetting the password for the university account and check if you are able to login. In order to reset the password please get in touch with the university.
