Windows 10: No sound from YouTube or Discord

I was just doing some editing and had Shotcut and Discord open. I deafened the audio in discord so i could hear Shotcut, and when i went back to discord to un-deafen it, i couldn't hear my friend, and i couldn't hear anything on discord, youtube, or Shotcut.the only thing i can hear is videos from the file explorer, my video games, and Xbox. I'm thinking that because i had youtube, Shotcut, and discord open, those are the only apps affected by whatever is happening.I've been trouble shooting the audio, apps, system. nothing is working. I'm obviously missing something, but i have no idea what.

Can't get Youtube to show videos in Chrome

I haven't gotteen to this suggestion yet - but, I've shut down half my Extensions and, now, I get the voice of the Youtube videos - but still not the video. Thought this clue might help.
