Windows 10: "No input device found" following Windows 11 update

This non-techy is asking for some plain English help please!I use Adobe Audition for editing audio using RealTek audio drivers for quality, but since the most recent Windows 11 update KB4023057, Oct 23 am unable to record audio. This has happened before after updates and I'd usually go into Audition's Audio Hardware Setup settings and reassign the soundcard, but this time there is nothing to reassign no input device found.I've updated the RealTek drivers via Device Manager plus uninstalled and reinstalled Audition, but still no luck. Can anyone help please?Ian

Vista Pre-SP1 vs. Vista SP1

I've been Windows Updating for two straight days and I finally saw SP1. If you want to troubleshoot it, follow these steps:

• Show hidden updates
• Manually install any failed updates (google the KB_____ and install from the windows site)
• Make sure everything in Device Manager is good to go

I had to do step two for like 4 or 5 updates to be able to see SP1.

Any other benchmarks you guys want to see? I might try PCMark05 (I think it works on Vista).

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

CD/DVD drive won't open following windows update

The issue might occur if the driver is not updated. I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check for status.

• Right click on the Start icon and select Device Manager.
• Expand DVD/CD ROM drives.
• Right click on the driver and select Update driver software.

Also, run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter by following the steps provided below:

• Type Troubleshooting in the Search box and press Enter.
• Click on View All in the left pane.
• Click on Hardware and Devices from the list and follow the on-screen prompts for troubleshooting.
