Windows 10: New W10 64 bit installation after bios cleared. PIN previously got messed up. I try to...

My bios got corrupted so I reset it and did a clean install. Unfortunately I entered PIN incorrectly and now can not change PIN successfully. When I go into reset PIN window the entry field does not show any input from my keyboard, so I am unable to change PIN. At present every time I boot up I have to go through my Microsoft Account sign-in process with texting of verification code etc..

i am installing it on a W10 pro PC
I am following the tutorial....but when installing an OS the option to install from a CD /DVD was not there, so I am creating an ISO image of my XP pro disk


also at this stage there is no network connection showing only the option to. create one, although I did this in an earlier step

 

Install W10 32 bit after 64 bit installation?

I upgraded my computer from W8 32 bit to W10 64 bit to take advantage of my installed 6 GB RAM instead of being limited to 4 GB RAM under the old system.

Now that I have upgraded, I find that running my 32 bit Turbocad program I run out of RAM memory when I render a drawing. I have since found out that W10 64 bit limits 32 bit programs to 2 GB.

Would the installation of a dual boot 32/64 bit OS allow me to run the program and access more RAM?

If so, I upgraded to W10 64 bit by uploading the free installation program. How would I install a 32 bit OS?

The option to use a physical DVD in Hyper-V is always there, except if you have selected a Generation 2 vm (UEFI / Secure Boot) earlier:




Generation 2 vm can only be installed from the ISO image, the option to install from a DVD is not present:




But: If you are as you say installing a Windows XP guest, you cannot install it on Generation 2 vm as is very clearly explained in the tutorial. A Generation 2 vm must have a 64 bit OS, desktop OS Windows 8 or later or server OS Windows Server 2012 or later, as is quite clearly explained in the Ten Forums Hyper-V tutorial (see the step 4.4 in tutorial).

User error, nothing else.
