Windows 10: New PC Build - Windows 11 PC Not Eligible

Hi All, I know this question has been covered a lot but I've hit a brick wall, and really don't know where to go next. Would be grateful for advice from a knowledgeable crowd.My son and I have build a new PC - spec below - this is our first build, and we have light computer knowledge. We've got to the point of booting up, entering BIOS, and now installing Windows 11. The only snag is that when we're installing Windows 11, after entering the product key, and that being verified, we then get the message that tells us that the PC is not compatible for Windows 11. Installing Windows 11 on New PC Build

Hello - I am running into an issue while trying to install Windows 11 on my new PC build.

I am able to get to the step where Windows wants to connect to a network in order to continue with the installation. However, I am not identifying any networks whatsoever. I have tried WiFi as well as having the PC plugged directly into the router via an ethernet cable. However, I continue to get stuck on this screen (screen shot below).

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?

 

PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval

• Install system in case
  • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
• Turn on PC
• setup HDD
• run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
  • run realtemp at the same time

• While in Prime95 test
  • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
  • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
  • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!

What do you guys think??
