    New hardware submission failing with Scanning Notes...


    We are currently no longer able to sign our legacy drivers built with WinDDK 7600.16385.1. When a bug fix is needed on these, we do not want to make all sorts of changes that could break stuff just to move to newer SDKs, so statements like "use the correct version of xxx" aren't very helpful.I downloaded the "initial package" from a submission that did get correctly signed on 12/19/2024 and submitted that again and also this one is now hitting the error mentioning:Scanning Notes {"code":"4001","details":{"errorInfo":"BlockingDetectionFound"},"innerError":null}So, how can we get our driver s

  2. Scanning fails

    Hi,

    We suggest that you run the hardware and devices troubleshooter to know what's causing the issue. To do that, follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows key then type Troubleshooting.
    • Click Hardware and Sound.
    • Click Hardware and Devices.
    • A box will prompt, click Next to proceed with the troubleshooting.
    Also, kindly update the driver for printer from your device manufacturer.

    • Can you tell us what model of computer you are using while connecting to your Samsung Note 4?

    However, we suggest you to run the Hardware and Device Troubleshooter through these steps:

    • Press Win + X then select Control Panel.
    • Click Troubleshooting.
    • Click Hardware and Sound then select Hardware and Devices.
    • To run the troubleshooter, follow the steps from the wizard.

    You may also try updating the driver by following the steps on this

    By default, scans are saved in a Scans folder inside the Pictures. Here are the steps on how to get there:

    • Press Windows and type pictures
    • Click Pictures and double-click the Scans folder.
