  1. New CPU, Reset FTPM, infinite windows 11 loading screen. Fix????????

I’ve recently gotten a new CPU Ryzen 5 5500 upgrade after years of putting old one Ryzen 5 2600 through years of games. However when I installed my new CPU everything went wrong. I’ve tried to keep my old Ftpm but keeps bringing me back to if I wanna keep or reset it. I’ve reset it but now at a windows 11 infinite loading. I’ve tried what I could think and other information on the internet. Nothing. Works. I’ve reset my bios, turned off/on new CPU ftpm. Nothing. I’ve gone in and tried repairing anything with windows 11 using recovery mode with command prompt. Nothing. I’ve gone into Safe M

  2. Windows 11 Infinite Black Screen Loop After Failed Windows 10 Reset

    Hi everyone,

I am reaching out for assistance due to a challenging issue with my Windows 11 system, which is currently stuck in an infinite loop of a black screen with spinning circles. This issue arose unexpectedly after an attempt to reset my Windows 10 system on a separate disk failed, suggesting that the reset operation inadvertently impacted my primary Windows 11 system.

Here's a detailed breakdown of the events leading to the current problem:

    • My setup includes two hard drives: Disk A with Windows 11 (my primary system) and Disk B with Windows 10.
    • I encountered a DLL file missing error on Windows 10 (Disk B) and after unsuccessful attempts to fix it through runtime library installations and the SFC command, I decided to reset the Windows 10 system via the settings, choosing to reset only the system disk to avoid affecting other drives. Unfortunately, the reset failed.
    • Subsequently, attempting to boot into Windows 11 on Disk A resulted in a blue screen error related to the NTFS file system on the first attempt, followed by an automatic repair on the second attempt. After the repair, the system now persistently shows a black screen with spinning circles, unable to proceed to the login screen.
    Additional details and steps taken:

    • Through the Troubleshoot options, I can access CMD and open Notepad, confirming that the disks are accessible.
    • I have created a Windows installation USB drive and attempted its repair functions without success.
    • My setup involves two monitors, with the BIOS and system defaulting to monitor A, but Windows set to display only on monitor B. Post-issue, the system disconnects from monitor A and attempts to load on monitor B, indicating partial loading of Windows configurations.
It seems the reset attempt on Windows 10 has unexpectedly affected the Windows 11 system on the other disk. Given the steps I've already taken without success, I am seeking your expert advice on how to resolve this infinite loading issue and recover access to my Windows 11 system.

Any suggestions, guidance, or recommended steps to troubleshoot and resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much for your time and assistance.

New CPU installed, fTPM/PSP NV corrupted or fTPM/PSP NV structure changed (NO NEW CPU INSTALLED)

I understand that you're facing a concerning issue with your Asus Strix G15 laptop. The message you're receiving seems related to the Trusted Platform Module (fTPM) or Platform Security Processor (PSP), and it's asking you to reset fTPM due to a perceived change in CPU or corrupted structure.

Here are some steps you can consider:

    1. Contact Asus Support:
      • Since your laptop is relatively new and likely under warranty, reaching out to Asus support is a good first step. They may have encountered this issue before and can provide specific guidance tailored to your laptop model.
    2. Check for BIOS/UEFI Update:
      • Visit the Asus support website for your laptop model and check if there are any BIOS or UEFI updates available. If so, consider updating the BIOS as it might contain fixes for such issues.
    3. Press 'Y' to Reset fTPM:
      • Some users have reported that pressing 'Y' to reset fTPM resolved the issue for them. However, this might impact BitLocker or encryption settings, so proceed with caution. If you don't use BitLocker or encryption, this might be a viable option.
    4. Verify BitLocker and Encryption Settings:
      • Even if you think you don't have BitLocker enabled, it's worth double-checking. Go to Control Panel > BitLocker Drive Encryption and verify the status of your drives. If it's not enabled, this might not be the root cause.
    5. Check for Windows Updates:
      • Ensure that your Windows operating system is up-to-date. Sometimes, Microsoft releases updates that address compatibility issues with certain hardware configurations.
    6. Perform a Clean Windows Install:
      • If the issue persists and you've exhausted other options, you might consider performing a clean Windows install. This can help rule out software-related issues.
    7. Backup Important Data:
      • Before making significant changes, ensure that you have a backup of your important data. If you need to perform a clean install, you may lose data on the system drive.
Remember, if you're not comfortable performing certain steps, it's advisable to wait for guidance from Asus support or seek help from a professional technician to avoid potential data loss or further complications. As you've already reached out to Asus, they should be able to provide more specific assistance based on the details of your laptop's configuration.

  4. New CPU, Reset FTPM, infinite windows 11 loading screen. Fix????????

New CPU installed. fTPM/PSP NV corrupted or fTPM/PSP NV structure changed on initiall start

Hello. I have the Asus X670E Hero MB and AMD 7950X. This is a newly built system. When I started the computer I got the message below. Because I am not familiar with this or whether Bitlocker or any encryption is enabled, I pressed N and then F1 and continued to the BIOS because I did not want to change anything and wanted to see if I could get to the BIOS, which I did. I understand Bitlocker has something to do with Win 10/11 but as stated I have no OS installed yet and therefore I have no Bitlocker code. I see that I can disable fTPM in Bios but don't know the affects of doing so. Can anyone help me with the next steps to ensure I can load the Win10 and not get locked out.

    Thanks...Al

New CPU installed. fTPM/PSP NV corrupted or fTPM/PSP NV structure changed.
