    I read many replies re: "aria-debug", all refer to "OneDrive" -- but I don't use or want OneDrive.When I use sysinternals Thanks, Mark! process explorer, I see a OneDrive DLL being referenced by both Skype and Firefox. 4 days ago, I erased every aria-debug-nnnn.log file. Today I have 564 new ones - sure enough, one every 10 minutes for 4 days is 576 new files.Thanks MUCH for any ideas.

    how to stop aria debug files from staying in temp folder

    I can delete if I stop onedrive but then it reinstalls itself and same problem over again.

    How are Aria Debug files created and what is their purpose?

    I fixed the issue by putting my temp files where they are originally from in my C/Windows/Temp and fixed the path in Firefox to point to C/Windows/Temp and I was able to delete them in my D Drive.

    The Microsoft agent that helped me sync my drive ended up bringing the temp files along with the sync and this is what caused the Aria Debug files and other files related along with it creating endless files.

    Aria Debug files are only created in temp folders and you can never delete them until you adjust all paths correctly in your Browser and C Drive.

    I also Unlinked and Re Linked my Extra One Drive before deleting the Aria Debug files in my D Drive.

    Note it's also good to delete temp files from time to time also now it's not creating endless files.

    Once synced correctly they will be deleted and everything will work back to normal.

    Also Mods please put this as the solved answer in case anyone ever gets this in the future this will be the fix for it.

    If your aria debug file(s) are huge, the solution is usually to download and install a new version of OneDrive from the link below, rather than the version that comes with Windows 10
