Windows 10: Network adapter driver issue?

I'm requesting help on behalf of a family member, she opened her computer and her Wifi and soundbar were highlighted red, her wifi was still connected to the internet but was very slow and lagging. We double checked her network adapter driver and its up to date and says it has a stable connection. So we're unsure whats going on. We've tried standard resetting on the computer and everything else is connected and stable. Just unsure of why the internet is so slow. This message system doesn't allow me to send any pictures cuz the files are too large or don't load, if someone reaches out to me I c

To resolve this issue, we suggest that you run the Network troubleshooter when you switch from WiFi to Ethernet connection. The Network troubleshooter can help diagnose and fix common connection problems including clearing the network cache to obtain a new
IP from the new network. Kindly follow the steps below:

• In the search box on the taskbar, type Identify and repair network problems, and then select
  Identify and repair network problems from the list of results.
• Follow the steps in the troubleshooter and see if that fixes the problem.

We recommend that you try the steps on the Update the network adapter driver,
Run the Network troubleshooter followed by networking commands, and Use network reset to reinstall network devices sections.

Method 2: Download and install the latest firmware updates for the Network adapter

Follow these steps to un-install the drivers:

• On the search bar type “ Device Manager”
• On the left pane locate “Network Adapter” and expand by clicking on it
• Right on the “ Network driver” option and click “Uninstall’
• Download the latest Wireless network adapter driver setup file from the manufacturer’s website and install it.

Windows 10 - Cannot connect to WiFi. How to uninstall network adapter driver?

Thank you for your reply.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• Right click on Windows icon on the taskbar.
• Select Control panel.
• Click on network and sharing center.
• At the left top corner click on Change adapter settings.
• There you will be able to see the Driver name of the network Adapter next to the Icon.
  
• Then you can go to device manager and check for that network adapter and you can uninstall the driver.
