Windows 10: .Net 8.0.11 deinstallation, ERROR CODE 0x80070654 - This installation package could not be...

i cleaned up my laptop and found 3 different version of microsoft windows desktop runtime6x x648.0.11 x648.0.16 x64i checked for updates and installed succesfully the latest .net sdk 9.0.3 x64 i could deinstall the 6x and 8.0.16 version without any issues but when i tried to remove the 8.0.11 i got the error mentioned above i google and found this :.Net 5 Installation, ERROR CODE 0x80070654 - This installation package - Microsoft Communityi tried all steps , except the stuff below .net9 since i could install it without any issuegreeting Thomas

My new computer is Windows 11 home, v22H2, x64-based processor

Hi, I went to load NavDesk_v7_50_0112_SP.exe to my new computer and I was told I needed “Microsoft .Net Framework version 3.5”



When I tried to install it I was told that it couldn't be installed, "The parameter is incorrect" and “error code: 0x80070057”.

1. I tried returning to the very first System Restore point, but that did not work.
   
2. I have tried Windows Club FixWin11 -System fixes – Windows update error: 0x800070057
   

Steps 1 & 2 read “0” as shown.

With step 3. Rename "%SystemRoot%\SoftwareDistribution" to "SoftwareDistribution.bck"

I cannot find the location to rename.



Any help to fix the error code would be most appreciated.
