Windows 10: Neglecting old hardware is bad for MS's business.

Hey.Hardware freedom has been the main reason why millions of people have stuck with Microsoft, even though Apple and others may have surpassed it in some areas of reliability though that’s sometimes questionable.Microsoft has always focused on supporting as much hardware as possible. It’s been a great ride—PC and MS pushing forward through all kinds of changes.Now, with this upcoming hardware generation cutoff, do you think this move will help Microsoft in any way?

Device listed twice on MS site, and How to update my hardware information on MS site after hardware upgrades.

I recently replaced all of the hardware on my computer except the hard drive. I have a full NON preinstalled full Windows 8.1 pro, which MS upgraded to Win 10 for free. After replacing the hardware, I had to contact MS to reactivate because the software
reactivation was not working. They have done that, but when I go onto my account on MS and view my devices, my computer is listed twice. Also, it has the old hardware listed. I'd like to update the hardware MS has in their records to the new hardware. Anyone
know how? Thank you.

 

Business Contact will not run on Motorola Q

I installed Business Contact Manager mobile and it shows that everything is synced. When I try to run Business Contact Manager on my Motorola Q it will open to a Contact Summary tab with partial information for the first contact listed in my BCM contacts.
I can side step over to the history tab and comment tab only. I have a menu option button that only gives me 3 options. Edit, Delete or Copy contact. I do not get the list of contacts as shown in the tutorial online.



Any suggestions?

Here is the step to remove that old email address.

Start typing an email address into the “To” field. As soon as you see the old email address being recommended as one of the potential candidates, use the down arrow key to scroll through the list of suggestions. Once you highlight the old email address, type the delete key. In many cases, this will actually remove the entry not only from the current list of suggestions but from future suggestions as well. You may even find that as you mouse over the drop-down list the highlighted item will have an “x” to explicitly allow you to delete it.

Just do this step and your good to go.
