Windows 10: Need help with a BSOD problem DEVICE_POWER_STATE_FAILURE

Not too sure what's causing it. Was checking on HWINFO64 for abit before the screen froze everything else was running, discord was still connected and working. Could be either a problem caused by HWINFO64 or the Integrated GPU.Also "Display driver amduw23g stopped responding and has successfully recovered."Once the device restarted the Integrated GPU driver didn't load, had a yellow exclamation on it. While the Dedicated GPU is just disabled. Disabling and re-enabling the Integrated GPU allowed the driver to load, and for the D-GPU I just had to enable

Weird BSOD problem


Hi Everyone,

I have a weird BSOD problem which I cannot solve for a while(it persists still after upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 7)

The main strange thing about this is that I get BSOD only after cold boot.
So it acts like this:

1. start PC.
2. Get to Windows Logo Screen
3. BSOD
4. Restart
5. Get to menu where I can try to repair or Start NormallyIf I Choose Repair, it will fail to repair and will try to restoreIf I Choose Start Normally, it will start OK, no BSOD, can work normally, games, browse internet, everything is normal.6. Shutdown PC
7. Next time when I start is all over again i.e. Go to Step 1

I have this problem for a while, so what I tried:

1. Another Windows 7
2. Another HDD
3. Only HDD connected
4. Changed RAM
5. Tried with built in GPU
6. Upgraded to Windows 10

Result is the same as above every time.

Please suggest what could be the cause.

PS. This thread is a continuation of this one: Frequent multiple errors BSOD. Solved - Windows 7 Help Forums the only thing changed is Windows 10 now. instead of Windows 7. If that helps somehow.

 

DEVICE_POWER_STATE_FAILURE

One of the many things that does no longer work properly under Windows 10 is now booting. I have become used to the mail program not working properly - with me it is the login account which is hotmail/outlook and, according to Microsoft, cannot be deleted
and then re-instated - but now, in this vaunted operating system, when I login I get the error DEVICE_POWER_STATE_FAILURE. It does not tell me which device driver is causing the problem but as Microsoft is now installing software without due regard to what
is already on the system, is probably due to them.

If anybody has any idea a to what can be causing this problem - DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE - or how to find out which driver it is I would be grateful to know.

If anybody has another working mail client which can work with multiple email accounts I would also like to know.
