Need help to remove an unwanted network adapter. vEthernet MEmuSwitch

Hi, I recently noticed in my task manager that there is another extra network adapter named vEthernet present. image belowAlthough I don't use ethernet, this seemed unusual, so I took a look at my network adapter settings, but did not find the extra adapter mentioned. image belowSo, I thought the device manager could help. I took a look there but couldn't find the adapter there too. image belowAs you can see, vEthernet adapter is not present here. My initial thought is maybe i have MEmu android emulator installed, that's why this network activity shows up in task manager. But, even when

    Duplicate vEthernet Switch Adapters?

I have two instances of a vEthernet Switch Adapter after installing a VM in Hyper V. I only have the default switch installed in Hyper V. How do I remove the greyed out adapter? Right clicking does not allow me to delete anything

Removing the vEthernet (default switch) from network connections list

Hi Richard, I am Paulo. I'm an Independent Advisor and an individual like you inclined to help.

The default switch vEthernet is created by Hyper-V. You can remove it by going to Settings > Apps > Apps & Features > Programs & Features (under Related Settings ) > Turn Windows Features On or Off. Make sure that Hyper-V is unchecked. Click OK then restart
    your PC

If that didn't remove it, open Device Manager and expand Network Adapters. Right-click on the Hyper-V Virtual Ethernet Adapter then Uninstall device.

    I hope this helps

Cannot remove vEthernet (Ethernet), Hyper-V Virtual Ethernet Adapter

I am back, missed an acceptable (temporary?) solution in the Device Manager.

The default view in Device Manager doesn't show hidden devices.

When checking this under the View folder, another Hyper-V Switch Adapter poped up.

I disabled the vEthernet (Ethernet) adapter, uninstalled the now 2 Hyper-V adapters and

all the Hyper-V connections shown under the View folder. Reboot and the vEthernet Adapter was gone.

And my local network is shown again in the File explorer. So far so good.

The Sandbox (the reason to the problem) also installed an 8 GB Virtual Disk and later I also tried to uninstall the Microsoft Virtual Disk in the Device Manager.

Well, it came back after Reboot and at the same time installed the vEthernet back again!

At the moment I have to live with the 8 GB Virtual Disk (MS solution: not showing it in MS Disk Management after 2004 upgrade).
At least the annoying vEthernet Adapter is gone at the moment.

The only solution to this Sandbox mess I have seen so far is to reinstall Windows 10 again.
