Windows 10: Need help locating the Troubleshooting "Power" in system settings Windows 11. rapid energy...

Hi There,I'm using windows 11 and currently going through the motions of reducing power consumption as edge is rapidly draining power on new laptop. So, I'm just doing the steps there I've found online for Microsoft edge and reducing power consumption.However, when going to one of the last recommended steps, going into system, troubleshoot, other troubleshoot and trying to locate the power option to run it, there is no option for "power" anywhere I can find. Infact my options are very limited here in both the initial "troubleshoot" menu and then clicking further to the "other troubleshooters"

This issue might occur due to some corruption in the power setting or may be due to any third party applications

I suggest you to try the methods below and check if it helps.


Method 1:Let’s run Power troubleshooter.

The power troubleshooter can automatically detect and fix any incorrect power settings. Refer to these steps to run this troubleshooter:

• 
  Select settings in the drop down menu below search and type
  Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Click on Troubleshooting and select the view all option on the left pane.
  
• 
  Click on Power troubleshooter and follow the prompts.
  

If issue persist, I suggest you to try method 2.



Method 2:

I suggest you to try booting the system in Safe Mode and check if it helps.

Energy Plan keeps resetting

Hello,

There are several reasons why you are encountering issues with your Power settings in Windows 10. We suggest running the
Power troubleshooter to find and fix problems with your Power saving plan. To do this simply follow the steps below:

• On the Cortana search box, type troubleshooting
  and click the first option.
• Then click on System and Security.
• Select Power.

After performing the steps above, restart your computer and set your preferred power plan settings.

Follow the steps:

Next and follow the on-screen instructions.
