Windows 10: "Name not available" under mixer audio

I am struggling with this problem from weeks. Already tried to run virus scan with MBAM, Rogue Killer, Mr.Web, Defender, Adwcleaner. No virus found. Did a registry scan with ccleaner and WiseRegistry but no luck.

That voice never play something, is just there sitting. A temporary fix is just restart "generator endpoint audio" service but as soon as i restart the laptop the "name not available" voice is there again.



What should i check? How can i see who is generating that voice under the mixer?

Set new audio device default for volume mixer in Windows 10

I use two audio devices:

• Default (audio) device "Realtec Digital Output (Optical)"
  
• Default communication device "Lautsprecher (Speaker)"
  

My goal:
I want to have the default audio volume on my default communication device, instead of the default device - at all times.

What I tried so far:
Changing the volume mixer to my communication device explicitly works temporary, but as soon as I close the settings window, the default audio volume is reset again to the default audio device.

Step 1: Clicking on volume shows me the default device:

Step 3: Clicking again on volume does not keep the change





How can I make it permanent that windows uses my communication device for default volume control?

 

Windows audio mixer not responding.

Ill give a quick break down on how this occurs.

1. I boot up my pc

2. Sound works for a while and then stops

3. I try to change the audio levels but the audio mixer freezes up and ends of not responding

4. I try to kill it with task manager and restart it to no avail.

I checked my drivers-up to date

Audio Drivers-Up to date

-Restarted the computer about 5 times but still kept happening.

-Sometimes it will work for a couple hours or when i leave the computer running.

• Can you tell us when did you notice this issue?
• Do you use the Mixer Broadcasting app on Windows 10?
• What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

In the meantime, I recommend that you sign out your account on the Mixer app then sign in again. If you still got the same issue, I suggest that you also reinstall the app to eliminate corrupted files.
