Windows 10: My Xbox Game Bar Won't Record My Microphone When Doing Record Last 30 Seconds

My microphone is not disabled.The mute button is not crossed out.My mic is the default on both my settings and the Xbox Game Bar.My microphone is plugged in properly.My microphone works fine. Works on discord and when recording through X-box game bar.I have noticed, if I start a recording, my microphone is automatically on mute. I unmute it, stop the recording and then record for last 30 seconds, then it works. But that is a massive pain and this software shouldn't work like that. I have looked everywhere. And I have tried everything I can think of. Any help?

Hello, I've changed settings for xbox game bar to record not last 30 seconds but 3 minutes, but It still records 30 seconds, how do I fix this?

 

USB Microphone not picked up in XBox Game Bar recordings

I regularly record 30 second clips of gameplay moments on Xbox game bar using Shift+Alt+G, but when I'm using my USB microphone it's not picking up any audio from it.

2) Try resetting Xbox Game Bar, Xbox Console Companion and Xbox Live in Settings > Apps > Apps & Features > Xbox feature > Advanced Options. Restart PC and try again.

3) If it still fails try re-registering the app from Option 2 here: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/3175-apps-re...

4) If those fail then try uninstalling the app in Settings location above, restart PC then reinstall from MS Store Settings > My Library.

Start with Step 4 to turn off Startup freeloaders which can conflict and cause issues, then Step 7 to check for infection the most thorough way, then step 10 to check for damaged System Files, and also Step 16 to test a new Local Admin account. Then continue with the other steps to go over your install most thoroughly.

6) If nothing else works then do a Repair Install, by installing Media Creation Tool, open tool and choose to Upgrade Now.
