Windows 10: My Xbox app on my PC is not letting me install games on my external hard drive. The error...

I could not open any game on the Xbox App. The following message was displayed: "[Game Name] can’t open because it is offline. The storage device might be missing or disconnected." After I couldn't fix that, I decided I would uninstall and reinstall the games. However, I cannot install the games on my external hard drive. I can download them just fine on my computer, but whenever I try to download them on my hard drive, the error code 0x80073d0d is displayed. I have tried to troubleshoot in several ways, so any help would be appreciated.

I also suggested this due to how moving a game from an SSD to HDD can affect it's speed. But I do understand why you want to have Windows on an SSD for the same reason, at least until you can get a larger SSD that can keep your games with Windows on the faster drive.

• Open your External Hard Drive file in File Explorer.
• Type the name of the file you want to search on the search box and click Enter.

The file will show up in Search Results and you will be able to move it to the correct folder.

Uninstall and reinstall the external hard drive program.

• In the Settings app, go to System.
• Go to Apps & features and locate the external hard drive program.
• Uninstall the program and go to the manufacturer's website to reinstall the updated version.

Uninstall and reinstall the Paragon driver software.

• Following the same steps mentioned above, locate the software in Apps & features
  and uninstall it.
• After uninstalling the software, go to the manufacturer's website to reinstall it.
  

To further isolate your concern, we'd also like to verify if the OneDrive app is enabled on your PC.
