    My Windows 10 is performing slower.


    I was in trying to open up photoshop by dragging an image on the icon but it made it freeze as well as my system, so after I restarted my gaming laptop, my computer started to perform slower and it is pretty noticeable, scrolling was a bit slow, opening up stuff takes significantly longer, even just hovering over icons on the desktop kinda lags a bit. Gaming is also noticeably slower and laggyI tried multiple things, even uninstalled photoshop, sfc scanning, checking startup, I even tried to uninstall an update to test if it was an update, but nothing helped!I also tried scanning for viruses

    Windows 10 Tweaks

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    I suggest you to try the below troubleshooting steps and check:

    Step 1: Run the System maintenance troubleshooter.

    System Maintenance troubleshooter finds and clean up unused files and shortcuts and performs maintenance tasks.

    • Type “Troubleshooting” in the
      Search box and hit Enter.
    • Select “System Maintenance” from the
      Troubleshooter window.
    • Select “Advance” and click on “Run as Administrator”.
    • Click “Next” and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.

    Step 2: Please try to run the Windows Defender to check for the virus on your device.
