Windows 10: My Redgear Pro Wired Gamepad is not working

My Redgear Pro Wired Gamepad is not working even though all the lights are on and everything looks fine. It was working perfect for last 1 year but suddenly in between a game today it lost it ability to work. I tried out various method to solve the issue but it didn't work out. It says that Last Usb connected malfunctioned and windows cannot recognise the usb. In the device manager, it has a warning sign saying "Device Descriptor Request Failed" Please help

I recently purchased a lenevo laptop with windows 10 home preloaded and a redgear gamepad for gaming. The controller was smooth and working fine (it's a plug and play controller) But from yesterday it keeps disconnecting again and again and now it's completely
disappeard. not showing in device manager not even in control panel. Interesting thing is that all controller lights are working and all the buttons are glowing(i think gamepad is fine from inside) but controller is not working. Please help me guys. Already
tried various methods and troubleshooters but nothing worked. Pls pls pls help..

Usually, this happens when the gamepad is not being recognized by your laptop anymore. To assist you with your concern, I would like to know the following:

• What changes have you made prior to this issue?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
• Have you installed the latest updates for Windows 10?
• What is the current build number of your windows 10 laptop?
• Since it is not showing in the Device Manager, have you check if it is listed under unknown devices?

To check for the latest update for Windows 10, click the
Start button, go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update then select
Check for updates. The current build of Windows 10 is 17134.228 which was released last August 14. Click the
Start button again, type winver then press
Enter to check the version and build number of your Windows 10 PC.

It's normal for the gamepad to have it's light on since it is still receiving power from the laptop even though it is not recognized.

In the meantime, I suggest you perform these troubleshooting steps to isolate the issue:

1. Try to remove other plug-and-Play devices to make sure that it is not overloaded.
2. Connect the gamepad on a different USB port.
3. Try to adjust the Power Management Settings. Here's how:
   • Right-click Start, and choose Device Manager.
   • Expand the USB Serial Bus controllers.
   • Right-click on the USB Root Hub and choose Properties.
   • Select Power Management.
   • Uncheck the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

Thank you for the information, MeenaBoy. Yes, that is correct. It should be listed as an Xbox 360 Controller for Windows. Besides the Xbox 360 controller, there should be additional entries under Human Interface Devices if the gamepad was
installed properly. It's called the HID-compliant game controller and USB Human Interface Device.

I would like to know if the Xbox 360 Controller for Windows, HID-compliant controller and USB Human Interface Device has an Exclamation point?

For now, let's perform these troubleshooting steps and check if this will resolve the issue:

1. Run the Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter. To do this, Press the Windows key on your keyboard and type Troubleshoot and hit Enter. On the Troubleshoot window, choose Hardware
   and Devices, and click the Run the troubleshooter button.
2. If it doesn't work, right-click the Xbox 360 Controller for Windows, and then select Uninstall, then go to the Action tab on the upper left corner of the Device Manager, and select Scan for hardware
   changes.
3. If it is still the same, double-click Xbox 360 Controller for Windows, and on the Driver tab, choose Update Driver.
