Windows 10: My previous employer still Administrator on my personal laptop.

My previous employer asked me to bring my personal laptop to work. During my work a few time employer's IT service remotely took control of my laptop to apply some fixes. Now after about two years I noticed that I can install new applications. I get a window from my previous employer that my request will be evaluated and permission may be granted after evaluation. Today I received a message that one of my effort to install Quicken is denied. Apparently, IT service of my previous employer establish themselves as Administrator on my personal laptop. Previous employer says they have disconnected

Work Laptop Desktop Mirroring Previous Employers Desktop.

Hello Everyone,

Due to a FedEx shipping software I updated on my current work computer with current employer, I was prompted to sign on using a Microsoft user name and password that was used on a previous work laptop computer with another employer. The second I logged in, I saw the same screen saver and work shortcuts that I had on my previous employers laptop. Why did this happen and how do I revert the screen to appear, prior to update, without my personal screen saver showing. The work desktop uses windows 10 and is connected to FedEx Network, not my employers network. I tried calling FedEx and they suggested that I call you.

Any help you can provide would be appreciated.

Until the OP reposts those images, this is the best I can do [pictures updated after I discovered a utility called PerspectiveImageCorrection]. I think it is enough to allow identification of the screens.

This one looks, to me, to be a Bios system password prompt, as expected.




I don't know this one. I don't know Bitlocker.

Couldn't you just email your former employer at let them know the machine they gave your is password locked. They should be able to provide the credentials to unlock it.
