Windows 10: My PC was unable to update/Got stuck at 92% and then it show the message saying it failed

I had a big problem with a Windows update, and now it is stuck in a loop. A few days ago I tried to update Windows 10, I decided to do it fast do I reset the computer, when turning off it shows the message saying preparing for updates, when it gets to 30% it turns off then when it turns on again starts from 30% and goes until 92% where it gets stuck for a time, and then it pops up a message similar to this:

After some time it went back to Windows as usual. But today I left my computer in sleep mode, while I was sleeping I got wake up by the sound of my computer 4:14am local time, I found it in the lot in screen where it asks for password I tried logging in but as soon as I grabbed the mouse it started to update I don't how many times before It did it while I was asleep. I decided to wait, while it was in the process of updating, as usual, it failed, but this time it got stuck in the part of "undoing changes", i don't know if I was supposed to wait, I felt something was wrong since it was taking longer than usual. I tried restarting it with a restart button in my pc, but it justs starts Windows in the same state of undoing changes. I tried activating the safe mode, fortunately it worked, but I had to do it by some unconventional ways. I reviewed the event viewer at the same times it failed the update there are some errors saying: "Error while updating Windows Defender status to SECURITY_PRODUCT_STATE_ON." There are other errors and warnings in the event viewer I took pictures of them with my cellphone but to don't make this so large I only include this one:

I have win 10 upgraded from win 8.1 for more than 2 months. Now in nov. 15 an upgrade has been announce which is being automatically updated but the downloading stops at 92% only. To reach downloading upto 92% about 15 hours are required. When update history
is vieweed it shows that the updates have failed. What can be done

I suggest you to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter. Follow these steps to run Windows Update
troubleshooter:

• Press Windows key + W and type
  troubleshooting.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Click Windows Update troubleshooter.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.
• Check if issue persists.

Method 2: Place the computer in Clean Boot and then install the updates

To help troubleshoot error messages and other issues, you can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This kind of startup is known as a "clean boot." A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: Please refer to the section:
How to reset the computer to start as usual after troubleshooting with clean boot
of the Kb article to boot the computer in normal startup after fixing the issue. Steps applies to Windows 10 as well.

Stuck at 92%

CU downloaded and installed on my Surface Pro 3 without issue, but on reboot has been stuck at "Working on updates 92% complete" for the last 30 minutes. Have already updated 3 other computers without a hitch, not sure what's going on with the SP3. Not happy about this so far *Sad


UPDATE: Well, that turned into a total fail, didn't complete and reverted changes, "We couldn't complete the updates" Undoing changes. Hmmmmmm not sure why this, had applied all previous updates and CU's without any issue.

UPDATE-UPDATE: Well , not sure what was up, but ran troubleshooter, found nothing, reboot, restarted the update and it finally went through. Strange, but done.
