Windows 10: My Mousepad/Touchpad not working after 23H2 update.

Hi, This is Sreedatta, After the 23H2 update in my \HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-dy0xxx, I found an issue. My touchpad stopped working. Please resolve my problem as it is very much required of me.

2) Do you use synaptic touchpad/other?

3) Is your system up to date?

Method 1:

I suggest you to enable the touchpad options from the settings. Follow the below tseps.

• 
  Open the Start menu, type
  settings in the search bar and click on it.
  
• 
  Click on Devices.
  
• 
  Select the Mouse and touchpad.
  
• 
  Enable the options under the
  Touchpad.
  

Method 2:

I suggest you to update the Touchpad drivers through Device manager. Follow the below steps.

• Press Windows key + X and select
  Device Manager.

• Search for Mice and other pointing devices and expand it.
• Right click on Touchpad drivers
  and select Update driver software.
• Follow the onscreen instruction to update the touchpad drivers.

If the issue persists, I suggest you to update the latest touchpad drivers from manufacturer’s website and check if it helps.

freezing mousepad/touchpad

hello, i've been having an issue with my touchpad/mousepad. i recently upgraded to windows 10, and ever since whenever i use the keyboard, just by touching any key the mousepad will freeze and remain inactive for about 5 seconds.

Mousepad stopped working, Asus ZenBook UX305

Hi,

I have an Asus Zenbook (delivered with windows 10, so no updates from earlier windows editions) and the mousepad has stopped working. The touchpad has been removed from my device manager and does not show a cursor or movement on the touchpad. When I plug
in an external mouse this device does show a cursor and appears in the device manager list. I cannot find any touchpad settings as all of them pertain to the mouse. It seems that the touchpad has been removed from the system? Can anyone help?
