My motherboard failed recently and now I can't reactivate Windows 10 even after running the troubleshooter. The troubleshooter tells me I have changed hardware which I know and that I don't have a digital licence. I had one for the previous motherboard so where did it go?

Reactivation Failed

I have just recently replaced my motherboard/processor and I reformatted my windows hard drive. I gone through the hardware changes steps, I chose the old machine listed on my account and clicked on ACTIVATE.

It now tells me that:

"Unable to activate Windows

We can't reactivate Windows on this device. Try again later."

What am I missing here?

windows 10 failed to reactivate

as the title suggests windows wont reactivate after i had to change my motherboard and processor and all this automated crap is just running me around in a very annoying circle, is this intentional or a failing, i would like to actually speak to someone
with a pulse that can help.
