Windows 10: My Microsoft Windows laptop resets network everytime i get it out of hibernation.

Hey people, so, i'm recently getting a problem on my DELL Inspiron 11 3168, that everytime i get it out of the hibernation mode, the network connection always "disconnects" when Windows recognized it as "connected", every single browser i open when it's out of hibernation goes for 4 errors, "ERR_NETWORK_CHANGED" "DNS_PROBE_STARTED" "DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET" "ERR_TIMED_OUT", and it lasts about 5 - 9 minutes like this, sometimes, i open up the Windows Network Diagnostics, but when i open it, and it tries to recognize the problem, the connection suddenly "goes back", and i can't recognize

S4 (hibernation) USB/network wake up

Hi,

I have this annoying problem. When my computer enters the S4 powerstate (hibernation) I can wake it up by just clicking with the mouse. Even when EuP is enabled the mouse can still wake up the computer. After a night of sleep I find the computer powered on. So not only can the mouse wake up the system, it also seems that network traffic can too.

I thought that hibernation was like power off but with the option to save the RAM to disk. At least before I always need to push the power button to boot after hibernation.

Any suggestions?

Laptop no longer hibernates on critical power

Hi Mike,

The laptop's battery is possibly wearing out. Since you haven't change any settings, we suggest that you change the critical battery level a bit higher so that your laptop can perform a hibernation on a much higher percentage than the default. Follow the
steps below:

• Type Power Options on the Start menu search bar.
• Under Battery, click on Critical battery level.
• Chang the default percentage to 10% or higher.
• Click on Apply.

Laptop won't show list of available networks

We suggest checking the list of available Wi-Fi networks on your laptop.

Please follow these steps:

• Click the Windows logo.
• Go to Settings (gear icon).
• Select Network and Internet.
• Then Wi-Fi.
• Make sure the Wi-Fi radio button is On.
• Select Show available networks, then you'll be able to see the list of available Wi-Fi networks.
