Windows 10: My microphone cuts in and out only while playing video games.

I am on Windows 11. Whenever I play a video game my microphone becomes chopping. That is, my friends will hear the first word I say and then nothing else. It doesn't matter if I am on Discord, Xbox Parties, or using an In Game Voice Chat.The input is totally fine and completely normal according to my friends when no video game is running.It does not matter what game I play I tried Skyrim and Valheim which use the Xbox PC App to run and I have used Stellaris which uses Steam to run.It is not the specific microphone I am using because the issue persists whether I use my Laptop Microphone, 2 di

Microphone cuts out when others speak.

I'm playing an online game called World of Tanks, and I will be speaking, and when another person speaks my mic will cut out until the people are done talking. I already have exclusive mode turned off for the microphone as suggested to me by peers.

 

I Upgraded to windos 10 and now my speakers are always playing my microphone cant figure out why?

You could face this issue due to corrupt or outdated Sound Driver. Please write to us with the following detail.

What is the make and model of your computer?

I suggest you to connect the Microphone to a different computer and check if it is working properly. If you still face this issue I suggest to uninstall the Sound Video and Game Controller and install from manufacturer’s website.



Step 1: Follow these steps to Uninstall.

  Press Windows key + X and select
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Search for Sound Video and Game Controller
  and expand it.
  
• 
  Right click on the Sound Video and Game Controller
  and select Uninstall.
  

Step 2: Go to the manufacturer’s website and then install the latest
Sound Video and Game Controller.
