Faults 0x80070643 and 0x80070005

I purchased a brand new HP computer with windows 11 Home installed. fired it up, desktop looked weird. Large icons. Pixelated. I tried to install a program used for invoicing and the system gave me an error of 0x80070643. tech help for invoicing system said this is a SQL issue with my OS and that I would have to resolve this before their system will work. (BTW SQL Server 2014 icons are in my recommended area of the start page - not sure why). I found that updating Windows 11 took multiple attempts. I have to restart between the 4 updates it listed. After the final update, the screen looks normal. Crisp picture, smaller icons. Tried to install Invoice software and same fault. I uninstalled the updates after the next attempt was unsuccessful. I performed a full system restore and started over. This time, the computer started and screen looked normal. Attempted to install invoicing software and received fault 0x80070005. This is new. I performed updates to Windows 11. It took 2 or 3 of the updates, and then restarted. Final one failed. Had to attempt a second time. Finally finished the last update. Restarted. Attempted to install invoicing software and received fault 0x80070643 again. From what I can tell, this computer/OS is not processing the updates correctly. Any idea what might be going on?
