Laptop Shuts Down when Unplugged

Yes I did, but that didn't work either.

How do I drain my battery? My laptop won't stay on for longer than a couple minutes when unplugged.

Could you please list down the steps for solutions 4 and 5?

my computer is shutting down after 5 minutes of being closed

when i close my laptop lid it shuts down in about 5 minutes. why is it doing this? usually it sleeps until it runs out of charge and my charge was fine

 

windows will shut down in less than a minute

I'm referring only to fast shutdown tweaks under Step 13 of the linked tutorial.

13. Speed Up Windows Shut Down Time

You can set and adjust the AutoEndTasks, HungAppTimeout, WaitToKillAppTimeout, and/or WaitToKillServiceTimeout values for how long Windows waits for hung programs and other programs to save data and close before shutting down.


I'm not suggesting anything else relating to fast startup or whatever.

Those Step 13 tweaks don't affect reboot or updates.
