Windows 10: My laptop screen turns off after 5 minute so how to increase screen turn off time

My laptop screen turns off after 5 minute so how to increase screen turn off time? Please suggest

Windows 10 1809 screen turns off after 5 minutes regardless of power settings

Settings > Power & sleep > Screen > When plugged in, turn off after > 15 minutes




Control Panel > Power options > Edit Plan Settings > Turn off the display > 15 minutes




Control Panel > Power options > Edit Plan Settings > Change advanced power setting > Display > Turn off display after > 15 minutes





Despite all these settings set to turn off the screen after 15 minutes my screen turns off after 5 minutes.

Where else is there to change screen time out settings to have the screen turn off after user desired interval?

 

Laptop screen won't turn on

i have a HP pavillion dv9700 and yesterday night right before i went to bed i propped my laptop up against my bed.. diagonally like a ladder against a wall..
but then it tipped over and landed on the back of the screen (the laptop was closed at the time)
since then when i turn on my screen the screen is completely black
although i can hear normal sounds from my msn/xfire etc etc.
any idea what happened? like a backlight breaking or what

 

"Turn Off Screen After x Amount Of Time" Not Working

Hello friends, Miss me? I miss you *Tongue As the title reads, Windows is not respecting certain "Turn Off Screen After x Amount Of Time" settings. For example, if I set it to turn the screen off after 1 Minute, the screen will turn off after one minute. 5 Minutes works. 10 Minutes works. But setting it to turn off after 1 Hour, the screen disregards this setting and turns off after 5 minutes. Is there some sort of mandatory power management at play here I'm not aware of? I've tried unplugging all USB devices and the issue still persists. Any insight will be greatly appreciated. OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Version 21H2 (OS Build 19044.1706) Laptop: Alienware Area-51M R2 Monitor: Gigabyte M32U
