Windows 10: my keyboard brightness key is not working?

i am using hp elitebook i5 7th gen , running on windows 10 i recently reset my laptop and this problrm started now i have to adjust brightness manually

Keyboard Volume Keys not working while in-game

I happen to have used the Tt Challenger Pro keyboard in the past, and the volume keys worked flawlessly in every game, so it's indeed a weird problem. I would suggest the same thing sneekypeet suggested, using the keyboard software and assign this function to a hotkey, but you said that didn't work either, so yeah...

Follow the steps below to open On-screen Keyboard.

Step 2: Run Hardware and device Troubleshooter.

Brightness Control not working in Windows 10

To adjust the brightness, see the steps below:

• Go back to Power Options, and tick on the High performance.
• See if you can adjust the brightness.

If this not work, we highly suggest that you create an Administrator account, and re-do the steps above.
