Windows 10: My headset is detected, audio works but microphone doesn't

When I checked realtek logs at the end it stated that " Device not started IntcAzAudAddService"yes all drivers are updated, i also tried to reinstall realtek driver but the problem persistsIf I connect the headphones to my phone it works but my pc doesn't takes input from it, although if I blow air in my mic it detects some noise but that's of no useDoes this service "IntcAzAudAddService" has to do with my microphone issue or is it something else?Also my allow access to microphone settings are on, I also set it as default but still nothing got better. I don't suppose it as a port issue maybe b

laptop not detecting headset microphone

I recently bought a new headset with a microphone and I can hear audio through the headset but
my mic is not detected and it is still using my default Realtek computer microphone.

I've tried looking for hidden microphones but there are none.
I've re-installed my Realtek HD Audio driver.

But nothing seems to work.

What should I do to fix this?

 

Laptop not detecting headset microphone.

Recently, I bought a headset with a microphone attached for use when chatting with friends, the headphones are detected by my laptop and work perfectly fine however, the microphone doesn't work and isn't detected at all, i have followed all the steps I could find to try correcting this including checking microphone permissions, checking the device manager which does show the headset as an audio input and output, and also tried using the audio input troubleshooter which, when the headset is plugged in and mic is folded down to unmute it, thinks there's just nothing plugged into the audio jack as well. I even bought a USB-C to 3.5mm adaptor (which as far as I know has a DAC in it) to try and bypass the built-in audio jack but that also isn't detected. The laptop being used is a Dell G15 5511 with a HyperX Cloud Stinger headset.

 

Computer won't recognize headset microphone

This is what i see in device manager. Im not sure if the Speakers/Headphones (Realtek High Definition Audio) is the one your saying to disable, as that is what is default in playback devices in the sounds panel.

Setting Stereo Mix as the default recording device and disabling everything else still didnt get the mic working, even when the headset is plugged into the microphone only audio port or the mic + sound audio port.
