Windows 10: My headphones are connected to bluetooth but sound still comes from laptop speakers?

My headphones are connected wirelessly but in the sound control panel it says "Not plugged in" on my wireless headphones in the playback tab. In the recording tab, it says my headset mic is not plugged in with wireless headphones. The sound keeps coming from the speakers while the headphones are connected. What can I do to fix this? Windows 11, headphones are Lenovo Thinkplus th30.

Sound not coming from bluetooth speaker

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help with my Sony SRS-XB100 speaker. It connects to my Windows laptop via Bluetooth perfectly, but there's no sound coming out. My laptop speakers work fine, and the speaker itself works with other devices.

I've tried the usual troubleshooting steps, setting it as the default device, restarting everything and uninstalling the audio/Bluetooth/speaker driver. Any suggestions on what else I could try to get the audio working?

My bluetooth headphones are connected, but sound is still coming from the laptop speakers, not the headphones how do I fix this?

My Bluetooth headphones are connected to my laptop, but when I play any type of sound it comes from my laptop speakers instead of the Bluetooth headphones. Is there anyway that I can switch this? It used to work fine and randomly stopped about a month
ago.

 

Bluetooth speaker (Lenovo 500) is connecting with laptop but sound is not coming

Hi Team,

I am having Lenovo Yoga 500 laptop which i use it to connect to my bluetooth stereo speaker Lenovo 500. My laptop is running the latest version of Windows 10 (last updated on 13-Jan-2016). It was working fine before last Nov 2015 big OS update.

After that (i checked it only this year), it is pairing and staying connected but the sound is not coming. Strangely the laptops speakers is also in sync with bluetooth speakers and even then no sound. Also i cannot hear the sound from the laptop speakers
when it is connected to a bluetooth speakers. Laptop speakers works well when it is not paired.

However the same bluetooth speaker is working perfectly fine with my Lumia 920 running WP 8.1.

Kindly provide your suggestions or solutions for this.
