  1. My gpu fans work but the gpu itself it's not recognized and gives no display

It all started with my stock motherboard. While cleaning my PC to remove dust, my GPU suddenly stopped outputting a display. The fans would spin, but there was no video signal. I reseated the GPU, cleaned it thoroughly, and even removed and reinstalled the entire motherboard twice. Despite my efforts, the PC eventually refused to start altogether, so I took it to a repair service. The technician replaced my motherboard with an ASUS H110L Plus, and when I brought it home, it worked perfectly—at first. However, I noticed the system was overheating, so I decided to add an additional case fan.Afte

  2. GPU temperature does not display in Task Manager

Subject is related to wddm, Windows Display Driver Model - Wikipedia

    As of wddm 2.4

    • GPU performance data, an extension to expose information about the GPU hardware such as temperature, fan speed, clock speeds for engines and memory, memory bandwidth, power draw, and voltages.

I have wddm 2.7, verified in dxdiag, tab Device 1, driver model on right side

The gpu temp should show in task manager, but it still does not. It's not the win version either because there are youtube videos showing older windows versions with the gpu temp feature on windows 10 home.

    GPU not displaying

    Hello there

I have a old system and recently I reapplied thermal paste on the CPU and GPU. I tidied up the cables and turned the pc on. After turning on I updated the graphics driver and everything worked fine until about 15 minutes later the display stopped getting any signals while the pc was running . I turned off the system and restarted again, reseated the GPU and ram, tighten the power connectors, tried a different power outlet but no success (GPU fan is still working). The pc turned on without the problem when I removed the GPU and used the on board.

    Pc specs

    Intel core 2 duo e 8400

    Nvidia geforce 6600

    512 GB HDD

    2 GB DDR2 ram

Does anyone know a way to fix this issue. Any help is appreciated ☺️

My gpu fans work but the gpu itself it's not recognized and gives no display

PC Not Recognizing GPU / Can't Update

I recently formatted my PC and now Windows is not recognizing my GPU (Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 Ti). The only devices that show up in Device Manager are "Intel HD Graphics" and "Video Controller (VGA Compatible)." In dxdiag, the display device is listed as
"Microsoft Basic Display Driver." I am unable to update the drivers for my GPU - the installer says that the drivers aren't compatible with my version of Windows.

When I try to update Windows, I am given the error code 0x80240fff.
