    Hello thereSo for about a week now I have had this problem where my files which have photos in them are always opening as a Webp images instead of an JPG, I cant seem to view them on windows Photo app. I download files on google chrome but the photos wont open in the windows photo app I have looked at different app options but I cant seem to find Windows photo app as an option??, Usually the files open in as a JPG,PNG and etc I hope You can help me with this.

    opening .dds files with gimp

    Simply, HOW? I got the DDS plugin but the POS wont open DDS files still. Can someone give me a step-by-step rundown of how to install the DDS plugin for gimp so I know if I'm missing something?

    How to get rid of raw file support in windows photo viewer?

    I have downloaded this, and it did not work; photo viewer is not in the list of programs in Open With or Default App. I used option 2 step 3, followed by step 5 to 9.

    Photos are opening with Paint instead of Photos app

    Hello,

    It's likely that your default application for opening photos is Paint. To change your default program in Windows 10 from
    Paint to the Photo app, we suggest that you perform the following steps:

    • On the Start menu, select Settings.
    • Go to System, then go to Default apps.
    • Select Photos or any app that you like to be the default under
      Photo viewer.

    Update us if the steps above helped you in resolving your concern.
