Windows 10: My curser deletes everything infront of it while editing a text or sentence. It deletes...

Hoping someone can help solve this....for the last couple of days, when trying to edit a document, if I place my cursor halfway through a paragraph to edit text, I'm finding that once I move the cursor, everything forward of the cursor gets deleted letter by letter. My curser also deletes the file i click on. i have tried enabling/disabling the insert key, unistalling and reinstalling the mouse and keyboard drivers from the driver manager updating them too.i have notice fairly alot of people having the same problem but i yet to find the solution to this problem. Explanations for deleted posts?

Like I said, it makes no sense in letting users see deleted posts, even if they are their own. That's why they were deleted in the first place. If they get to see who specifically deleted it, it only serves one purpose. Lets them bitch.

 

Editing text instead of highlighting a word.

How do I edit text? If I try to move the curser to the middle of a word it just highlights the word?

On my old phone I could precisely choose where to put the curser and change letters on any word I've typed, on the windows phone if I click anywhere on the word it just gets highlighted and I cant edit it other than deleting or choosing a suggested word.

Its pretty annoying that the phone does not allow me to edit as I go along.

our policy is to delete only spam/inappropriate posts.

the only person who can "hard delete" posts on the forums is me .. everybody else can just soft-delete the posts, the original author will see those posts in the threads list with a comment why it was deleted.

to the poster it will look like this, without "manage"
