Windows 10: My CPU and memory usage are rising at an alarming rate, causing my laptop to run slowly and...

In my laptop, there are two unnamed processes in Task Manager that use too much CPU and Memory, causing the laptop to heat up heavily and slow down.I downloaded KMSPico from an unknow scource that i cannot remember, and after that, these two unknown processes started apperaing in my task manager.This is my task manager imageWhen i right click this process and go to details it point me to a file name svchost.exeimage When i reserached the internet people were saying look these process in "Process Explorer"below are the images:svchost.exe command line and pathsvchost.exe second process comma

Problem: Explorer 50% cpu usage


Every day, at intermittent times unrelated to anything I do [it happens when I'm doing nothing], Explorer starts running with each core at about 50% cpu usage, and does not stop. Temperatures and fan speeds rise, fans become very noisy.

Speedfan indicates core temps rise to ~ 70 degrees C, "Temp1" rises to 75 - 80 degrees, fan 1 speed ~ 4000rpm,
fan 2 speed ~ 2500 rpm.

I have just installed Windows 10 so it seems it could not be caused by a virus/malware.

In windows 7 forums some users found the problem was caused by a corrupted file:

Since my problem is intermittent is it unlikely to be caused by a corrupted file?

I can't use the solution suggested in the W7 forums because when I kill explorer I lose my desktop.

I ran diskcheck on both my hard drives and it reported no errors found.

Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Can someone please explain why a corrupted file would cause explorer to run at 50% cpu usage?

Most of the time, computers only use a small fraction of their CPU power. In fact, many computers use less than 5% of their CPU the majority of the time. When you open an application, play a video game, or encode media file, the
CPU usage will rise or spike temporarily. Once the CPU intensive process completes, the CPU usage should once again drop down to lower level. Most applications will not use up more than 50% of your CPU for an extended period of time. However, some programs
and system processes can use up a large amount of CPU without you even knowing it. This may happen if a program gets stuck in an infinite loop or encounters an unexpected error.



High CPU Usage May Be Caused By.



• Out-of-date drivers (Run Driver Hub to automatically update or manually update them).

• Running too many applications at once.

• Insufficient virtual memory (How to Fix Virtual Memory Issues).

• Overheating/Poor ventilation.

• Virus/Malware infections

I would suggest you to perform the methods provided below:

Method 1: check if the issue occurs in Safe Mode.

To boot the system in Safe Mode:

Windows Startup Settings (including safe mode) - Microsoft Support

Method 2: Run the System Maintenance Troubleshooter.
