Windows 10: my computer wont update error 0x800703f1

So it downloads successfully but once I restart the computer it'll be an endless loading screen till the computer gives up after maybe 6-10 hours. I haven't been able to update since January. I tried another post here with the same issue as mine but the solutions didn't work. I tried to use the troubleshooter and it said it fixed a problem but nothing changed. It still won't update.

Drivers won't update, errors 0x800703f1 and 0x80070002

I have about 20 drivers that need updating. Windows version 18363. The updates download but fail to install. All report error 0x80070002 or 0x800703f1.

I've tried:

• Clearing the download files and restarting the update service.
• Running the troubleshooter
• sfc /scannow
• dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth, which seemed to hang after the scan.
• perfmon /report, which shows that one service is crashing
• Using the Device Manager to install individual drivers
• Various other remedies proposed; I googled the error codes and followed up...

Suggestions?

 

update Error 0x800703f1 in Windows 10

I'm still having same issue, as everyone else. mine is not with the NVidia but I'm getting the Error 0x800703f1 code for updates.

I have tried several suggestions. when I try to run troubleshooter I get error in missing windows update component missing.

I tried restoring, wont do because of update error.

I even created media tool. went thru whole process says unable to restore because of another error.

Everything was good before last update on 11/20/15. the one that was removed because of issues. If there is a work around or if you need further info please contact me. as I'm sure I'm not the only one stuck.
