    My computer lags very heavily when opening and closing programs. No large spikes on anything, nothing unusual, and it lasts for a while, especially when opening an app

    Computer-Lagging

    So recently about few days ago my pc started to lag. Like suddenly~ It lags on a regular basis like even in window or when I open a program or when turning on the pc. When openning a program it takes a long time to open it, for example like after I turned on real1player the movie seems to lag. I couldn't even open the internet explorer. Then when trying to close it, everything becomes not responding.
    I don't know what the problem is, but thanks if anyone would help out.

    when you are trying to launch a game. This might be due to the corrupt display drivers.

    Please answer the below questions to assist you better.

    1. Does this issue occur to this particular game?

    2. What is the make and model of the computer?

    Follow the below steps and check if it helps,

    I suggest you to uninstall the Display Adapter drivers from Device manager and install the latest drivers from the manufacturer website and check if it helps.

    Follow the steps for the same.

    • Press Windows Key + X key and click Device Manager.
    • Expand ‘Display Adapters’.
    • Right-click on the Display Adapter listed and click on ‘Uninstall’.
    • Install the latest driver from the manufacturer website.

    My computer lags very heavily when opening and closing programs. What's causing this?

    Programs not closing?

    Im not sure where this question should go exactly. But my problem is that when i close programs, they close fine as far as i can see, but they are not actually closing. My computer will start to lag. I will do control alt delete and all the programs will still be running. Why is this happening?
