Windows 10: My computer is being Remotely controlled by an external program

I was downloading games from the internet. I tried to open one of the games, and it did not work. It was some sort of .bat file supposed to manually download the game. Now that I come to think of it, it was clearly very dumb.A couple of weeks later I get a pop up, an anonymous mask, saying that if I do not pay 250 dollars in 48 hours, they will “ruin my life”. They stated other things such as the fact that this virus cannot be removed, as they are the only ones with the knowledge. Apparently this is a program known as Seroxen. It is meant to give the hackers full remote control of my pc.I imme

PC as remote control

Hey I have this TV next to my computer, and the remote control is lost. is there any way I could use my computer as a remote control? like bluetooth or infrared?

Then follow the steps below to ensure remote desktop is enabled:

• Click Start.
• Click on File Explorer.
• Right-click This PC.
• Select Properties.
• Click Remote settings in the upper left hand corner.
• Ensure the option Allow remote connection to this computer and
  Allow Remote Assistance connection to this computer is selected.
• Click Apply and OK.
• Reboot the PC for the changes to take effect.
