    My computer can’t function at all after a software update my computer is too old to update...


    I can’t open windows even when pressing the windows key on my keyboard, and nothing else can open. It just shows the loading pinwheel when I hover the mouse or click on the windows button.

    Do windows updates slow down the computer?

    New poster revives 4 month old thread that doesnt appear to be an issue anymore one way or the other. Seems legit.

    Do windows updates slow down the computer?

    Sometimes on a new install pre SP on Vista and 7 it can but only until it completes. With 10 no not even on old hardware. With the creators update you can't use the computer during the update
