Windows 10: my camera light is coming onit is showing a background picture i selected but not my...

Hi my camera is coming on and showing a background picture that i have selected but not me. some times is will not turn off either unless i disable it. this is going on a while now. I have tried every thing and am looking for assistance now as i need it for meetings .

Can no longer select pictures as background

Previously I was able to select pictures from my PC as a background, including using a group of pictures as a rotating theme. But now when I try to do the same and go into a folder on my hard drive to select photos, the photo files are not listed at all.
I have many folders of pictures but none show the photo files when I try to use the background option. I can see the pictures fine otherwise.

Any suggestions?

Theme Background pictures not showing on logon

Hi,

To get better clarity on the issue please do let us know if you are referring to Lock Screen background pictures.

If yes, I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows + I key on the keyboard.
• Go to Personalization.
• Click on Lock screen and chose the desired picture.

How do you see the Pictures tile background image?

These steps will change the background of the tile:

• Open up pictures by clicking the tile
• in the pictures screen (which says all, date and favorites) tap and hold until a window pops up
• Choose Change background
• Select the desired picture form synced pictures or camera roll
• Position the square exactly how you would like to the picture to appear (it's the size of the "pictures tile")
• When done select the tick to acknowledge on the bottom of the screen
• Return to your home screen and check the pictures tile
