Windows 10: Muted Application Missing from Volume Mixer

I've muted a messagging application while doing screen recordings and when I wanted to unmute the app, it just went missing completely from the Volume Mixer. I couldn't find it in the volume mixer and when I got new messages it won't show up in there either.There is no notification sounds when new messages arrives for weeks and this is really troublesome as I couldn't check my messages on time...Help is greatly appreciated...!

Volume Mixer not showing muted app

The application was muted on Windows 10 with November update. Now I am using Anniversary update, on build 14393.10

The initial step did not help make Banished show up in the Volume Mixer, nor did the article.

Hello!

On my PC I've got a game called Banished that I muted once from the Volume Mixer, because I wanted to listen non in-game music instead.
So now, when I want to re-enable it - I can't. Why? Because Banished does not show up in the Volume Mixer, meaning I cannot unmute it.

I have tried the fixes described in this post - Applications missing from Volume Mixer to no avail.

Application missing from volume mixer after muting once

There is a game that i have once muted on volume mixer and now the game disappears from the volume mixer and i cant unmute it. Everything else is working fine except the game which is always muted. I know that this is due to the fact that it was once muted
and now volume mixer cant detect any audio from the game hence it does not appear in the mixer.(I only know this from researching after the incident has already happened.) I have tried reinstalling the game, using nircmd's setappvolume, reinstalling audio
drivers, using ECHO to reset volume mixer settings, including a Full Reformat of the entire PC. Still everything else works fine except for the game without sound.

Name of the muted application: Phantasy Star Online 2(Jp)

Any other Solutions?
