Windows 10: Mute the mic will mute audio also in Teams while using Bluetooth headset

Hi Team,This is a very peculiar problem I am facing from few days in Microsoft Teams.Whenever I connect to a teams meeting or call through bluetooth device from my laptop, this problem occurs. it works fine in mobile app.During call if I mute my mic it will automatically mute the audio also, I cannot hear other person in the call.This is causing a lot of trouble during official calls and meetings. Can you suggest if there are any options or settings that I need to check and what is causing the issue. can you please resolve this.Thanks,Preetham

Headset muting audio on receiving Mic input

I actually had this issue with my old headset and thought it was just the headset, but this one worked just fine, I was changing some sound settings to fix some audio lag I was getting, now this headset
does the exact thing the old one did. I can't remember exactly what I changed, but it's weird, it only mutes audio when receiving mic input. I tested it with audacity while listening to music, if I press the record button it mutes my headphones to receive
mic input.

Does anybody know how to fix this? I spent like 60$ on this headset because I thought the issue was the headset! It worked just fine a few days ago, I made phone calls with it. Now it mutes on mic input,
so it kinda defeats the purpose of the headset. I can't make calls or play games because it mutes audio on input.

 

Bluetooth Headset and Car connection MIC Muted

I have a strange problem with my LG-E900: When I connect to my Philips Bluetooth Headset or to Blue and me in my Fiat the Mic stays Muted, everything works fine except of the Microphone. I have tested both the Headset and blue and me with my old Noki and
there everything works find. I can not find any settings in Windows Phone to unmute the MIC and I assume that this can't be a hardware error as the mic is part of the Bluetooth Headset. Anyone an idea ?

 

Microsoft Modern Wireless Headset audio shuts off when muted

When I press the "mute" button or raise the mic boom to mute the headset it also shuts off the audio. This makes the "mute" almost useless. I need to be able to still hear the meeting while muted.

Looking in the Microsoft Accessory Center app, there is no configuration for leaving the audio enabled while muted. Realistically, the default behavior should mute the headset while leaving the audio enabled. I wouldn't care if I couldn't change the setting as long as that was the case.
