Windows 10: Multiple Microsoft 365 accounts

I have multiple 365 accounts I don't need and I've been using my works free one over a year. I'm being charged however I don't know what or who is charging me

Multiple computers on one Microsoft 365 account

1. Verifying Access on Each Computer: To ensure each of your six computers has access to Microsoft 365 using your wife's phone number as the username, you'll need to check the account details on each computer. You can do this by opening any Microsoft 365 application (like Word or Excel), clicking on 'File', then 'Account'. Here, you'll see the User Information which should display the account currently logged in.

2. Assigning Unique Names to Each Computer: For easy identification, it's a good practice to assign a unique name to each computer. You can do this in Windows 10 by going to Settings > System > About > Rename this PC. This won't affect the Microsoft 365 account but helps in distinguishing each device.

3. Connecting to OneDrive for Backup: Each computer can be connected to OneDrive for backup purposes. You'll need to sign in to the OneDrive application on each computer using the same Microsoft 365 account credentials. This will synchronize the files across all devices, ensuring they are backed up and accessible from any computer.

4. Accessing Files Across Computers: As long as each computer is signed into the same Microsoft 365 account and connected to OneDrive, you and your wife should be able to access files from each computer. The files saved in OneDrive will be available across all devices.

W8/Mobile/Multiple 365 Exchange accounts allowed?

I have had the same problem. On Windows Phone 7.5, this scenario worked without any issues.



After buying a new Windows Phone 8, adding the second Office 365 account just left me with a message saying, "We're looking for your settings..." which never completes. The DNS information is correct - several other WP8 devices use autodiscover without
problems. The problem only arises when you add a second Office 365 account.



Here are the steps to add a second Office 365 account to your Phone:



Step 1

- Log on to Portal.MicrosoftOnline.com

- Navigate over to Outlook

- Write down the name of the server from the address bar:

E.g. hkxprd3456.outlook.com



Step 2

- Navigate to email+accounts

- Click "add an account"

- Choose "advanced setup"

- Type your Office 365 email address and password, then click next

- Select "Exchange ActiveSync"

- Scroll down to Server and type the server name from step 1

- Click Sign In



I know these steps are a little cumbersome, but it works.
