  2. Windows update is leading the CPU usage to High in multiple systems

Windows update is leading the CPU usage to High in multiple systems.

"System" process is utilizing more than 30-50 % CPU which is causing 70-100% CPU utilization and whole system gets down.

  3. Windows 10 & 11 idle high ssd usage and high cpu usage

Hi Dushan. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, specializing in Installation, Performance, Troubleshooting and Activation, here to help you.

    1) Run the SSD maker's diagnostic toolkit from the Support Downloads web page for the drive model; if none then use one of these:

https://mashtips.com/ssd-health-test-and-perfor.... If it fails contact the SSD's Support under warrranty if it's within a year of purchase.

Follow this with a full Disk Check: https://www.groovypost.com/howto/check-hard-dri...

    2) Fixes for high SSD usage in Windows 10 and 11:

    https://thegeekpage.com/100-disk-usage/

    https://nerdschalk.com/how-to-fix-100-disk-usag...

    3) Fixes for high CPU usage in WIndows 11:

    https://allthings.how/how-to-fix-windows-11-hig...

    4) Run System File Checker/DISM in WIndows 11:

    https://www.elevenforum.com/t/use-system-file-c...

    5) If that doesn't fix it then you can do a Windows 11 Repair Upgrade which reinstalls Windows while saving your files and apps in place, brings it up to the latest version by the most stable method, takes about an hour and resolves most problems: https://www.elevenforum.com/t/repair-install-wi...

Feel free to ask back any questions. Please report back results for all steps given so I know what else to suggest if necessary.

    High CPU Usage Problem

    Hello,

SvcHost.exe is a system process that hosts multiple Windows services in Windows Operating Systems. If there are multiple instances of svchost.exe in Task Manager, it could be that there are multiple third-party applications that are running in the background
    services.

As a first troubleshooting step, we suggest that you boot your device in Safe Mode and see if you are still getting a high CPU usage. You may follow the steps here on this
link to start your PC in Safe Mode.

Keep us updated with the results.
