    Hi Guys i picked up a virus after a complete scan on windows 10 . it claims to have effected my msimg32.dll file . i run sfc /scannowregularlly and i get no integrity errors or warnings . if there is no integrity issues does this mean my msimg32.dll is fine .Is there anysample i can compare it against . Just dont feel comfortable with pretty much doing nothing to resolve the issue .Thanks in advance Jason

    Hi Andre,

    I installed Windows Essential with Movie Maker from the link you gave me and then got the message again about the missing MSIMG32.dll.

    I appreciate your help, but I am beginning to hate Windows with a passion. I wish I had bought a Mac at the beginning. I will give you a good rating for helping me, but Microsoft is going to lose a customer.

    Hello,

    I disinstalled Movie Maker because it was making my computer crash every 15 minutes, and I wanted to reinstall the program because I am in the middle of an urgent project.

    When I tried to install a newer version, my computer crashed again.

    Since, every time I turn on the computer, no matter what I want to do, I get the message that MSIMG32.dll is missing. I don't want to download dll files from other companies since they all seem to be malware, but I don't find anything simple on the Microsoft
    site.

    Please help if you can. This is urgent for my work.
