Windows 10: MS office license issue with windows update

    I have recently updated to windows 11, and my MS office shows it is an unlicensed product, but it is preinstalled on my laptop. How can I fix this?I also don't have any product key since it is preinstalled on the laptop.

    Is Windows 10 & MS Office Paper License considered as a valid product by the Microsoft.

    If yes, then what is the right process for:

    1. Buying Paper License Windows 10 & MS Office

    2. Installing Windows 10 & MS Office using Paper License.

    Hi Ian, follow these steps to perform a full repair of your Office installation . . .

    Open Control Panel - Programs and Features

    Click Microsoft Office in the list of installed applications

    At the top, click 'Change'

    On the resulting dialog, click 'Repair' - choose the Online Repair, it is a comprehensive fix

    That should fix any issues with your Office Installation . . .

    I could not read any of the words in the dialogs that appeared in the video.

    If it is a configuration issue then you can use the solution in the link I gave you.

    I'm still concerned by your apparent lack of Office 2007 updates. There should be dozens of them. You did set the 'get updates for other MS products' entry using the tutorial that Bree gave you a link to?
    - They will be listed in Start menu, Windows system, Control panel, Programs & features, View installed updates.
    - Here are mine. Although I use a different Office 2007 Edition [Pro], I would expect you to have pretty much the same list of updates & I've left in a few that I believe were necessitated by Office 2007 although not part of the same set in View installed updates
