    Greetings,I’m running the latest version of MRT via C:\Windows\System32 on a fresh windows 11 install fully updated. OneDrive added icons from previous installation on the desktop screen.Disk defrag shortcut on the desktop is flagged as an infected file by MRT! How come??Virustotal shows the shortcut is fine and manually inspecting the shotcut shows: %windir%\system32\dfrgui.exeThanks in advance,B

    Hi,

    We appreciate you for being a part of Windows 10.

    Yes, you may create shortcut for opening disk defragmentation. Follow the below steps.


    • Open the desktop, right click on empty area on desktop and click on
      New->Shortcut.

    • Enter the dfrgui in the Type the location of the item text box.

    • Click on Next button and then click on
      Finish
      button.

    • Now the shortcut will be created on desktop.

    • Right click the dfrgui shortcut on the desktop and click on
      Pin to start or Pin to taskbar.
    Now you will be able to access the disk fragmentation shortcut through Start menu or taskbar.
