Guys some of you who used "Mouse Without Border " has to face this error without no reason. I don't know whats this reason but its happening after 1 or 2 days. I was in love with this amazing tool but also facing this error issue. So I did some research and found out some of the Command Prompt which was answered saparately by other Community angel who found a solution. Thanks to them. These steps works on my pc so I hope it also works on your end .Here is the solution.1.Open Command Prompt . win +R then type cmd thats how command prompt opens2. Now copy and paste these line one by one. nets

Hi Everybody I also have this problem "Only one usage of each socket address" . In my case I can solve it temporarily by reinstalling MWB on the effected machine.. Unfortunately the problem comes back a week or two later. I have two PC's that are on the
latest Windows 10 Creators update (1703). Only one PC seems to have the problem. Both PC's have the latest network adapter drivers.

This writer uses the command:

Apparently windows runs out of available ports, hence the socket error. I haven't tried this yet as I am not sure running this command is advisable on windows 10. Is this command safe? Could MWB be updated in some way to prevent this happening in the first
place? I notice that their hasn't been an update for almost a year now. I find MWB extremely useful and is a great product. Hopefully this might help others.

Hi everybody,

I'm using the tool "mouse without borders" (MWB) for a while now and I'm quiet satisfied with it. Normally it does what it should do.

But the following issue appears from time to time, which is a little bit annoying:

After being away from the workstation for a while (let's say half an hour or so), moving the mouse arrow to the other workstation doesn't work anymore.

After clicking on [Apply] in MWB the following message appears (translated from german to english):

"10048: Normally for every socket address (protocol, network address or interface) only one usage is allowed".

Simply restarting MWB doesn't work. After rebooting the workstation everything works fine again. Therefore I think it has something to do with the network connection respectively the sleep/awake status of it.

How can I avoid this issue?

Both workstations running on Windows10.

my network adapter drivers were also already up to date.
